Using our example of sharing the content filtering between the domain administrator and the local user account you need to perform this procedure only once as the system administrator. Our illustration will show the procedure once, but again keep in mind you can do this only on the local user level if you wish. We will now set up the second delete rule.
Using your browser browse to http://pobox.lhhosting.com, the home page for the web based mail interface. The login would be webmaster@mydomain.com with the administrators password. Replace mydomain.com with your own domain.
From the Domain Settings menu choose the "Domain Content Filtering" menu option. Again, if you are just setting up the filters on a single user account then choose "My Content Filtering" from the settings menu.
After selecting the content filtering option the following dialog will appear. At this point you will press the "Add Filter" menu option to proceed. Remember, you have already added your white list rule and your first delete rule.
After selecting the Add Filter option the following dialog will appear.
This dialog box will present you with options you will see each time you set up a new content filter. In this case you need to look into the Email headers in order to find the tags you will be looking for. So select "Email Headers" then press the "Next" option.
This time you are going to look for the presence of two different tags. The two tags you are looking for now are scoring tags. Both tags indicate a very high probability that the email is garbage. The important thing to remember about this rule is that you are looking for either of these two tags. If either of these two tags appear then the rule should be executed. So this time we will use the Filter Type "Or". Enter the Email header tags exactly as they are shown below and make sure the "OR" button is selected, then press the Next menu item to proceed.
In this case we have either of the two tags we were looking for so we can delete this email with a high degree of confidence. Check the "Delete" button" and name the rule. We named the rule Delete Rule 2 however you can name it anything you like.
When you are done press the "Save" menu item to add this rule to your rule list.
As seen above once you have saved your rule you will return to the content filtering rule list and you will see three rules listed. You now still have your white list rule which is the first rule and will be executed first, and your first and second delete rules. And since we did this rule as the domain administrator, it will apply to all the users in the domain. Now the rest of the users are receiving even less SPAM based on the current rules.
Using our formula for splitting up the rules between the user and the administrator lets set up one last rule in the user account.
